Since 2010, dedicated and skilled aquatic educators with the City of Kamloops have teaching critical water and boating safety lessons and most recently expanding water safety education to international students with affordable beginner swim lessons.

The City provided accessibility mats to Project X Theatre, making it easier for all guests to enjoy this year’s magical performances of Thumbelina and The Emperor’s New Threads.

Emergency Support Services volunteers and staff gathered for an evening of appreciation, connection, and cultural sharing.

Over the 2024–2025 school year, these dedicated high school students met monthly to debate ideas, weigh in on community events, vote on budget items, and share their unique perspectives with City decision makers.
