Program Details
This is a free drop-in program for all children, youth, and families in the community looking to get active. Each Park Play Day provides a variety open play opportunities, games and activities.
This weekly program runs until August 22, 2025. Registration is not required. Parent supervision is required at each event.
Locations and Time
- Mondays, 10:00 am–12:00 pm, West Highlands Park, 1185 Links Way
- Wednesdays, 10:00 am–12:00 pm, Cottonwood Park, 750 Cottonwood Ave
- As of June 11, the location will be at McArthur Island Park, Mosquito 1 Baseball Field
- Fridays, 10:00 am–12:00 pm, Valleyview Centennial Park, 2288 Park Drive
During Extreme Heat and Weather or Poor Air Quality
If the air quality index is rated seven or higher, or if there is extreme heat or weather or an emergency event is in progress, the program will be relocated to the alternate indoor location or cancelled. If cancelled, notification will be posted on this page.
Schedules
Although the program is scheduled to take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, until August 22, please ensure that on the date you wish to come, there is no cancellation due to a statutory holiday or for other programming. View a schedule below:
