Patrons of public skate, preschool-only, family-only, adult-only, and senior-only can pay in cash on-site or register in advance online at Kamloops.ca/Register.

We recommend everyone wears a helmet. Helmets are mandatory for children under 13 years of age.
No. It is your responsibility to ensure that a proper helmet is brought to the arena.
Yes. Skates rentals are available at Valleyview Arena during public skate times. View skate rental costs and details.
Season Skate Pass
Passes can now be purchased through your online recreation account.
- Log into Customer Portal. Login
- Click dropdown for 'online shop' and select 'memberships'
- Select the membership you want to purchase. Details of the memberships can be viewed by hovering over the membership tile.
- Select the person you are buying the membership for.
- Individual passes–only purchase 1 per person
- Family Memberships–minimum one adult required, maximum two adults and a maximum of three children under 18 years of age
- Proceed to checkout
Passes can also be purchased by calling our registration line at 250-828-3500 or in person at the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool & Fitness Centre, or Kamloops Museum and Archives.
After you have purchased a Season Skate Pass, when you register for ice times in that season the fee will be waived.
Yes. When you have a Season Skate Pass you will still need to register for the ice time you would like to attend.
For programs with limited availability (Drop-In Hockey and all Stick, Puck & Ring programs), registration confirms your spot for the ice time.
Registering for Public Skating notifies skate staff that you have paid the for the ice time.
Preschool, child, youth, adult, senior and family passes can be used for Public Skating and all Stick, Puck & Ring programs
Drop-In Hockey passes can only be used for Drop-In Hockey programs.
