Please note that pools with an area of 7.5 m² or less with a lockable lid do not require a building permit.

A retaining wall application is required to confirm the wall's design, location, and compliance with City standards.

Single- and Two-Family Dwellings Occupancy Inspection Checklist

This list outlines the general items required to obtain an occupancy inspection and occupancy certificate under City of Kamloops Building Regulation Bylaw No. 11-84, 2025. To assist with making the final building inspection successful, please ensure that the checklist has been completed PRIOR TO REQUESTING the final inspection.
