Construction Fire Safety Plans

Buildings are at the greatest risk to serious fire damage at the construction stage. At the construction stage, fire-resistive walls and floors, sprinklers, standpipes and fire alarm systems are not yet in place or are incomplete. The goal of a Construction Fire Safety Plan is to prevent fires in and around construction/demolition sites and reduce the fire risk to life and property.

In-Building Emergency Communication Support Infrastructure

In-building communication is a life-safety requirement because modern construction materials like reinforced concrete and treated glass often block the radio signals firefighters rely on during emergencies. To prevent "dead zones" where crews might miss evacuation orders or be unable to call for mayday, buildings utilize signal amplification systems to boost radio coverage in every stairwell and basement. These systems ensure a continuous, reliable link between interior teams and incident command, transforming a potentially isolated environment into a coordinated and safer workspace.
