Alireza (Ali) has over 35 years of experience in the fitness and martial arts industry, with extensive expertise in personal training, coaching, and combat sports. He is a BCRPA Supervisor of Fitness Leaders and holds BCRPA Personal Trainer and Weight Training certifications. He is also a long-standing member of the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) and the National Physique Committee (NPC).
Ali holds a Master’s degree in Sport Science, specializing in Bodybuilding and Fitness, and has earned multiple international awards and professional certifications across Europe, Asia, the United States, and Canada.
Fitness and martial arts are Ali’s lifelong passions. His mission is to inspire, educate, and motivate individuals to build sustainable exercise habits, empowering them to achieve better health, greater confidence, and an improved quality of life. I have a keen interest in science, which led me to get my Master of Science in Biochemistry. After a career in teaching and medical research, I pursued nutrition and fitness education. I am especially interested in helping women have a smoother menopause journey, and I am also passionate about helping older adults age healthily through better nutrition and exercise.

Raised by active parents, my love of physical activity started early. I was an avid participant in extracurricular sports where I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of movement and is impact on overall wellbeing. My passion for human movement and exercise led me to pursue a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. This academic foundation combined with my personal experiences solidified my commitment to help others achieve optimal health and function. With experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement, I hope to meet the diverse needs and goals of those in our community. Growing up on a farm in Alberta gave me many opportunities to be outside and active. I started weight training at 15 years old and decided to pursue my first fitness certification after graduating high school. I have been teaching group fitness and training for the past 18 years and have a true passion for helping people reach their goals and build their confidence. When not teaching or training, I’m usually spending time with my eldest daughter and my new baby grandson. I also love to garden, hike, paddleboard, boat, cook, and read.
