Level One Emergency Support Services Recruitment

Emergency Support Services volunteers are often first on scene when residents are displaced by emergencies such as house fires. The City of Kamloops is recruiting Level One Emergency Support Services volunteers to provide on-site support, including emotional care, basic needs (food, shelter), and coordination with agencies like Kamloops Fire Rescue and RCMP.

This role is ideal for individuals who are calm under pressure, community-focused, and able to respond within 30 minutes during a scheduled on-call week.
