Digital gift cards are now available and are a great way to give the gift of recreation. Your friends and family can use their gift card toward their favourite hobby or discover a new one! They are simple and easy to use and can be redeemed for:

How It Works
Purchase and redeem your digital gift card online or in person at the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre or the Kamloops Museum and Archives. Gift card sales are not available over the phone.
- You will need a City of Kamloops recreation account to purchase a gift card.
- Gift card values include $5, $25, $50, $100 and $250
- Gift cards can be used for any age, from preschooler to older adult.
- Those who purchase online will receive a printable certificate and can monitor gift cards purchased by logging in to view on their account.
- In person sales you will receive a printed and/or emailed copy of the gift card.
Terms and Conditions
Use of a recreation gift card constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Use the digital the gift card as payment towards any City of Kamloops recreation and culture program or service. Gift cards cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash. If your gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without authorization it cannot be replaced. Gift cards have no expiry date. The purchase amount will be deducted from the unused balance remaining on the gift card, with any excess purchase price payable at time of purchase.

How do you check a balance on a gift card?
Phone 250-828-3500 to request your balance over the phone or have your balanced checked in person at Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre, or at the Kamloops Museum and Archives.
Can I buy a gift card online?
Yes, gift cards are available online via our online shop. You will need to have a City of Kamloops recreation account to purchase.
Can I purchase a Gift Card over the phone using my credit card?
No, you cannot purchase a gift card over the phone. Please log into or create your online recreation account and purchase Gift Cards from the Online Shop.
Does my gift card expire?
No, gift cards do not expire.
Can I reload a gift card?
No, gift cards are a one-time card and cannot be reloaded.
Can I use multiple gift cards at one time?
Yes, you can use multiple cards at check-out. You will need to add the gift card number for each gift card when you process payment.
Can I add my gift card as a credit on my account?
No, you cannot add your gift card balance on your account. However, you can add to Google Wallet or to Apple Pay.
Can I add my gift card to Google Pay or Apple Wallet?
Yes you can add gift cards on to your Google Wallet or Apply Pay. Ensure you correctly document your gift card when it comes time to use it in person or online.
Do you have a physical gift card?
No, we do not provide physical gift cards.
I used my gift card to pay for a course and now I have to withdraw. Do I lose my money?
If you used a gift card to pay for a course and the course is cancelled or you withdraw then the amount will be added as an account credit to your account. Account credits can be used when registering for programs online or in person as well as for any of the recreation products and services listed above.
What do I do if I lost my gift card?
The City of Kamloops is not responsible for lost or stolen cards, however, the original purchaser of the gift card can request a reprint (from the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool or Fitness Centre, or the Kamloops Museum and Archives) or they can print from their original email.
Someone stole my gift card and used it. My family member was able give me a new copy but it has less money on it now. Can the City fix my balance?
No, the City of Kamloops is not responsible for lost or stolen cards, therefore, any discrepancy with the balance will not be reinstated to the amount before the gift card was claimed to be lost and/or stolen.
