The following outlines rules and safety for our pool facilities at Tournament Capital Centre facility including outdoor areas of use and the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
- Smoking, vaping, or drugs are not permitted on site.
- Shoes are mandatory on site.
- Dogs or other pets are prohibited from the facility, track, and turf.
- Only authorized vehicles are allowed in Hillside Stadium.
- Parking is for facility users only in permitted lots and stalls. There is no parking on the sidewalk or in drop-off areas.
- Report any damage or vandalism to the front desk or a facility attendant.
- Report any witnessed misconduct or suspicious activity to the front desk or a facility attendant.
- Use of image recording devices is not permitted in the change rooms.
- Designated disabled change rooms are reserved for persons with disabilities.
- Lock your belongings. The City of Kamloops is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Clean all equipment after use.
- Spitting or nose cleansing is not permitted in the facility.
- Outside footwear must be removed prior to entering the Fieldhouse or gyms
- Patrons who have flu-like symptoms/illness, vomiting, head colds, ear or nose discharge, ear infections, or have open sore(s) or bandages, or have related symptoms should not enter the facility.
- Refrain from personal grooming (nail clipping, shaving, and hair dye) in the pool facility including change rooms, showers, sauna, and steam room.
- Only the track is accessible during public walking hours.
- Strollers and non-motorized mobility equipment are allowed on the track.
- Walkers use the open outer lines.
- Joggers and sprinters use the inside lanes only.
- Please pass on the right side.
- Food and beverage is not permitted on the track, only water.
- Snow removal is not guaranteed or provided for regular bookings. Removal will only be considered upon request and for special events. Snow removal charges may apply.
- Wear clean, regular running shoes (no metal cleats or bare feet).
- Rubber cleats that are less than 2.5 centimetres long are allowed.
- Staking, spiking, golf, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, or bicycles are not allowed.
- Food and beverage is not permitted on the turf, only water.
- Do not remove grass fibres or infill materials.
- Heaters are not allowed on the field or track.
- Snow removal is not guaranteed or provided for regular bookings. Removal will only be considered upon request and for special events. Snow removal charges may apply.

Photography and video recording are not permitted any City facility without the City’s approval. Cameras, smartphones, and other recording devices are strictly prohibited unless prior approval is received from the City.
