Register for a Program

All Activity Guide program users as well as guests of the Tournament Capital Centre, Canada Games Aquatic Centre, Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre, Brock Pool, and arenas are required to have an online recreation account in order to access the facilities.  Don't have an account? Register now.

Can I still register in person at a facility or on the phone?

Yes, you can still call or register in person at the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool & Fitness Centre, or Kamloops Museum & Archives. Please note that online registration will be faster than phone or in-person. We appreciate your patience.

Do I need to have an account to search for programs?

No. You can navigate through the system without having an account, or being logged in. You will only be prompted to log-in or create an account when you register for a program.

How do I cancel a registration/withdraw from a program?

To withdraw from a program you will need to call the main registration line at 250-828-3655 or alternatively, the Kamloops Museum and Archives line at 250-828-3576. Withdrawals from a program will be not be processed or refunded on a designated registration day.

Please note that a $10 administrative fee will be charged for all program withdrawals. Check your registered program for its specific refund policy.

How do I know when I have successfully registered for a program, class, or activity?

You have successfully registered for a program, class, or activity when you click the “Checkout” button on the payment screen. You will receive a confirmation email with all of the details.

You can also view all of your client info by clicking on the “My Profile” button found at the top left.

How do I register for an activity?

Clearing your browsing data on your web browser (Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, etc) prior to registration will help prevent error messages when completing payment. Incognito mode on Google Chrome is recommended for the best results.

Step 1. Find and select a program using one of two ways:

  • Use the search function on the schedule page. 
  • Navigate through programs under the main categories: Adapted Programs, Aquatic Programs, Drop-In, Parties, PacificSport, Registered Programs and Special Events.  You can refine your search using the filters provided.

Step 2. Login or Sign Up to create an account

Step 3. Attendees Screen: Select family member(s) you would like to book and click “Next”

Step 4. Review Screen: Review your Cart Summary and select “Checkout”

Step 5. Payment Screen: Enter payment information and “Complete” the transaction

How do I search for an activity?

Search for an activity in one of two ways:

  1. Use the search function on the schedule page. 
  2. Navigate through programs under the main categories: Adapted Programs, Aquatic Programs, Drop-In, Parties, PacificSport, Registered Programs and Special Events. You can refine your search using the filters provided.

How do I setup my online recreation account?

Follow these steps to setup your online recreation account:

  1. Launch the online recreation webpage
  2. Click "Signup" above the Login box.
    • Please note: the first member created on any new account will be assigned as the primary contact for the account. Please add an adult client first, and then add additional family members on the "My Info" page in step 4.
  3. Add the requested account details and click "Submit". Your login will be the email address you provided when you created your account.
    • At this point, you will be logged into your online recreation account and can add or edit your account information. You will be sent an email with a one-time temporary password for the next time you log in to your account. When you use your temporary password, you will be prompted to create a new password. Password must be at least 10 characters long, contain one uppercase letter, 1 number, and cannot contain a sequence (i.e. 123456 or 123abc). A sample password could be Bucketlist1.
  4. Once logged in, you will land on the "My Info" page. Here, you can verify or edit your contact information, including mailing and email addresses, add credit card information, and add family members to your account. 
    • Note: If adding family members to your account, all members of a family account will share the login and password of the primary account holder.
  5. Within the "Schedules" section of the site, you will be able to view and register for all available recreation programs.

Create Your Online Recreation Account

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, the online recreation site and its payment processor (Moneris) are fully encrypted and compliant to ensure your personal information is secure.

The software requires all passwords must:

  • be at least 10 characters long
  • contain one uppercase letter
  • contain one number
  • not contain a sequence (i.e. 123456 or abc123)

Sample password: Bucketlist1

We strongly encourage our users to choose a strong password and be diligent in protecting their personal information and account details.  

What credit cards are accepted for online payment?

We are able to accept online payment using Mastercard or VISA only.

What is the refund and withdrawal policy?

A $10 administration fee will be charged for all program withdrawals, excluding memberships. Refunds and withdrawals will not be processed on registration days. Check each program for specific refund policies. Once program registration begins, a pro-rated refund will be applied. Please note that refunds will not be given for withdrawals from cooking classes within seven days of the class's start date. 

What will happen if I try to register for an activity that is full?

You will not be able to register for a course that is full, but you can add yourself to a waiting list.

If a space opens for that activity or additional sessions are added, you will be contacted by email and/or by phone. If we are unable to reach you, your space may be given to the next person on the waiting list. Placement on a waiting list does not guarantee a spot.

Where do I login?

To login to your account, launch the online recreation webpage, and click on "Login to your account". 

Activity registration - Troubleshooting

I have an account, but I can't see the course I registered for.

There is a possibility of having multiple accounts using different email addresses.

If you think this might be the case, please contact the front desk at 250-828-3500 to have the accounts merged. In the case of a merge, front desk staff will resend the up-to-date login information.

I have entered my credit card information, but I cannot adjust or delete it.

If you need to update or remove a credit card that is stored on your client page, you will need to contact the City of Kamloops Recreation Department at 250-828-3500 or visit us in person at the Tournament Capital Centre, Westsyde Pool & Fitness Centre, or Kamloops Museum and Archives.

You can add multiple credit cards to your account if you need to replace a new card/correct information prior to registration, and cannot contact us right away to update your stored information. Simply contact us at your earliest convenience to remove or deactivate any stored card(s) no longer needed.
