ARCH Program

Affordable Recreation for Community Health (ARCH)

ARCH is a subsidy program that Kamloops residents with low-income access City recreation programs and facility memberships. We understand the value of recreation for healthy living and want to help people in our community to reach their goals. This program is available to permanent Kamloops residents who meet income‑based eligibility or assistance criteria.

The ARCH program provides up to $400 in recreation credits to reduce the cost of fitness classes, activities, and facility memberships or drop-in services. It is an annual program that requires an application each year.

We also understand that affordable transit is critical to allow people in need to access recreation opportunities. Applying for KamPASS, the City's affordable transit program, is done through the ARCH application.
