Call for photos!
Residents of all skill levels and ages are invited to submit their digital photos for a chance to be featured in the 2026 City Calendar. We encourage submissions that highlight our City's diverse population, urban landmarks, breathtaking environment, and variety of leisure activities.
Individuals with submissions selected for inclusion in the 2026 City Calendar, or selected as a COVER for any major publication this year will receive public recognition on our website and social media channels and will be awarded a one-month Family Pass to the Tournament Capital Centre.
CONDITIONS:
- You must be the photographer of all photos you submit and have the rights to publish them
- Photos must be submitted in digital format (3 Mb minimum, 20 Mb maximum file size)
- By submitting your photos you are granting the City of Kamloops full reproduction rights and permissions.
Note: Photos are welcome in any orientation but only landscape photos will be selected for the calendar. Some major publications including the activity guides and the five-year financial plan, are produced in portrait orientation. The City and Tourism Kamloops use submitted photos for a number of promotional and informational purposes beyond the City Calendar and major publications. We do our best to credit photographers when we can.
Deadline: September 29, 2025, at 4:30 pm.
About the City Calendar
The Kamloops City Calendar includes current garbage and recycling guides, zone maps, and important municipal dates. It features beautiful photography from our local photo competition finalists.
New for the 2025 Calendar...
Icons for garbage, recycling, and organics clearly indicate what is collected on any zone’s scheduled collection day. Residents can also find individual zone-specific 2025 collection schedules (with the entire year laid out on one page) at Kamloops.ca/CollectionSchedules.
Using the City’s free Waste Wise Kamloops app is a convenient way to receive collection day reminders and updates.
Please note the following corrections to the name on two of the photo credits in the print version of the calendar:
