Web services like MyCity and the Online Payment System (for municipal fines, business licences and dog licence renewal payments) may be offline or unavailable during this window. MyCity is an online service for residents and business owners to access information about City of Kamloops accounts (e.g. taxes, utilities, dog licenses, business licences). Through MyCity, you can also view up-to-date status information on building permits and applications, and schedule a building inspection 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What can I do with MyCity?

- Create a new profile
- Verify your account by entering the verification code that is sent to you by email*
- Log-in to MyCity and add your accounts!

Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters long (and no more than 36 characters). Passwords must contain an upper case, lower case and numeric character.
All accounts can be added using the Account Number* and Access Code provided in the top right corner of your statement.

*For Property Tax accounts, this is your Folio Number. For DES Permits, this is the Folder Number provided to you when you apply for a permit.
Once you register an account, an email with a verification code is automatically sent to the email address provided. Please note, the verification code expires after 24 hours.
Please allow up to 5 minutes to receive the email, and leave your browser open to enter the verification code, as a link to re-open the window will not be sent.

If you do not receive the email within 10 minutes, please start the process to register your new MyCity account again by visiting the login page, and selecting “Create a New Profile”.
Once you register an account, an email with a verification code is automatically sent to the email address provided. This verification code expires 24 hours after it is sent.
If you have waited longer than 24 hours, you can still enter the verification code, and the system will automatically email you a new code. Simply enter the new verification code (remember to allow a few minutes to receive the email), and wait for the system to display the message that your account is successfully registered.

Customers are able to reset their own passwords by using the password reset link at the bottom of the MyCity login page. If you have forgotten your password, simply click “Reset it”, and a temporary password will be sent to the email linked to the account.
Login to MyCity with the temporary password, and then reset your password to something you will remember next time. As a reminder, your password must contain an upper case, lower case, and numeric character and be a minimum of 8 characters long.
