Christmas Tree Recycling

Recycle your Christmas tree!

Every year, from December 27 to January 15, drop off your natural Christmas tree at the locations listed below and help turn it into compost for our parks and gardens.

Please make sure your tree is free of wires, tinsel, and decorations before recycling.

Christmas Tree Recycling

Did you know? Since 1990/1991, Kamloops has recycled over 189,000 Christmas trees! Not only are recycled trees diverted from the landfill, they produce compost material for use in City parks and gardens.
