Seniors' Light Tour
The Seniors’ Light Tour is a free annual event hosted by the City of Kamloops each December, made possible by the dedication of local volunteers. Using City transit, this festive tour takes seniors on a scenic bus ride through a designated light tour to enjoy holiday light displays created by Kamloops residents.
Volunteers assist with pick-up at designated locations to help ensure a joyful experience as participants travel around town soaking in the holiday cheer. After the tour, guests gather at Sandman Centre for tea service and a lively sing-along. Once the festivities conclude, guests are safely returned to their original pick-up location with the help of volunteers.

Seniors' Picnic
This is a free, annual event for seniors in our community, held each summer. The event is a great opportunity for adults 55 and over to visit with old and new friends and participate in activities.
The event features musical entertainment, setting the perfect backdrop for a picnic-style hot dog lunch served by the Kamloops Paddlewheelers Lions Club. In addition to entertainment, the event offers gentle fitness exercises with chair yoga and chair Zumba as well as lawn games.
The event is free; however, registration is required.
