The Kamloops Sports Council, in collaboration with the City of Kamloops, Tourism Kamloops, and the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association, is excited to announce the inaugural Kamloops Christmas Market, set to take place November 21–30, 2025.
This new community event will transform the Heritage House parking lot at Riverside Park into a festive, European-inspired outdoor marketplace, bringing the warmth and wonder of the holidays to the heart of Kamloops.
The Kamloops Christmas Market will be a vibrant celebration of local artisanship and seasonal charm. Visitors will find a curated selection of handmade goods, artisanal gifts, local food and wine vendors, and craft breweries.
Running midday into the evening, guests will enjoy something new and unique each day, including live entertainment and visits from Santa. With plenty of opportunities to sip something warm and soak in the festive atmosphere, the Kamloops Christmas Market is sure to become a beloved annual tradition.
“This event is a true community collaboration,” said Duncan Olthuis, the Kamloops Sports Council’s Executive Director. “It reflects the creativity, culture, and spirit of Kamloops. We’re thrilled to be launching something that will have a lasting impact on our city.”

Andrew Smeaton, the City’s Business Operations and Events Supervisor, says the City is excited to support hosting this new, immersive event.
“We’ve heard from everyday conversations and public input that there’s a strong desire for more cultural opportunities in Kamloops. The Kamloops Christmas Market is an example of how we’re working in partnership with community organizations to help bring great ideas to life and deliver an engaging experience for residents and visitors.”
