Apply For A Minor Development Variance Permit
A Minor Development Variance Permit (MVP) is a Development Variance Permit that complies with Schedule “A” of the Delegation of Council Authority for the Issuance of Minor Development Variance Permits Bylaw.
MVPs may make changes to sign regulations, parking standards, building siting regulations, building height calculations, or landscape and fencing requirements that do not negatively impact neighbouring properties.
Whereas DVPs require approval by City Council following a public notification process, MVPs are issued by staff and do not require any notification.
