As a keynote speaker and facilitator, Ryan is recognized for blending professional expertise with personal storytelling, drawing from lived experience with addiction recovery to create safe, honest spaces for dialogue. His work bridges cultures, deepens understanding, and inspires pathways toward reconciliation.

Ryan is the founder and CEO of Healing Between Worlds, an initiative dedicated to fostering understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. His training focuses on the History of Canada Through an Indigenous Lens, Cultural Safety, Truth and Reconciliation, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). Ryan advises governments, organizations, and communities on reconciliation, cultural safety, and Indigenous engagement.

With more than a decade of experience in the mining and resource sector, Ryan has supported end land use planning, reclamation, and engagement processes that bring together Indigenous knowledge and industry practice. He also facilitates the development of end land use, environmental, and cultural management plans that incorporate and respect Indigenous laws and traditions alongside contemporary science. This work has included consultation, opportunities for training and employment, and guiding high-level negotiations in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
