Canada Day Community Booth Application

The Canada Day Committee is accepting applications from community groups that are interested in setting up an interactive booth at the annual celebration at Riverside Park, to be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Booths will be located within the east side of Riverside Park.

Priority will be given to organizations that promote a creative message of community spirit that will add to Canada Day event celebrations. A brief description of what the booth will offer the Canada Day crowd is required.

Note: Artisans, home-based businesses, and makers are encouraged to apply for Art in the Park and will not be considered for a community booth. Retail sales will also not be considered.

  • Cost: A nominal fee of $25 will be charged for any kind of activity or information booth. For booths that will be receiving any kind of revenue while at the park (e.g. raffle tickets or fundraising of any kind), the fee is $200. All raffle ticket vendor booths will have to provide a copy of their Gaming Event Licence in advance.
  • Booths: Groups will be limited to spaces of approximately 10 ft. by 10 ft. Booths must be creative, interactive, fun, and engaging to the public. If your booth does not meet these criteria, your application will not be accepted. Booth locations will be decided upon by the Canada Day Committee.
  • Hours: Booths must be set up and staffed from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Exhibitors wishing to set up earlier or stay longer are encouraged to do so.
  • Deadline: The deadline for applications is 4:00 pm on May 1, 2026, or until a sufficient number of suitable applications have been received. Successful applicants will be notified by May 8, 2026. The committee thanks those who apply, but only accepted applicants will be contacted. Fees must be paid by May 31 at 4:00 pm.
