  • Hosted by Kamloops Immigrant Services, this free, all-ages community event has something for everyone - tots and youth soccer, pickleball, badminton, Zumba, adaptive Zumba, self-defense, Tai Chi, a sensory-friendly station, art activities, and more.

    Whether you're playing, exploring, or cheering from the sidelines, it’s a great chance to move, connect, and enjoy time together.

    All are welcome - bring your family and invite your friends!

    3rd Annual Every Child Matters Hockey Game

  • The inaugural event was held in Williams Lake in 2023 to encourage awareness and action for truth and reconciliation through sport. This family-oriented, catalyst event brought together residential school survivors, band and community officials, indigenous and non-indigenous spectators, and an array of sporting celebrities under one roof to cheer as one watching a celebrity-style hockey game between ex-NHL/WHL/high-level players and an esteemed Orange Jersey Project team.

  • Wildfires shape our landscapes, our stories, and our communities. Join us for HOT TOPIC Open House on Friday, September 5, from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm for an evening of conversation, connection, and cultural mapping.

    Hosted with Thompson Rivers University, this free event brings together wildfire experts, local partners, and community voices to explore FireSmart methods, resilience, and our shared experiences.

    2025 Kamloops Dragon Boat Festival

  • The Kamloops Dragon Boat Festival will be taking place alongside Kamloops Daybreak Rotary Ribfest again this year. Teams from across the country are coming to Kamloops to compete on the South Thompson River off the shores of Riverside Park beach. Dragon boating is a modern sport with ancient traditions that is both competitive and fun! Boat crews consist of 20 paddlers, a steersperson and a drummer.

    The International Cup returns to Kamloops, as the city welcomes two Premier League soccer clubs for a series of games at Hillside Stadium this summer.

    Arsenal U21 Women and Nottingham Forest U21 Men make their Canadian debut here in the Tournament Capital of Canada. They will be playing six matches against local teams between July 27 and August 3 (three games each).
