Kam-Motion, a free, low-barrier, inclusive community event, took place at the Tournament Capital Centre on Sunday, June 2, 2024, to kick off the ParticipACTION Community Challenge, a national initiative that aims to inspire Canadians to embrace an active lifestyle while fostering stronger, healthier communities. Local organizations played a crucial role in making Kam-Motion a success. The City would like to thank the following organizations for their attendance and contribution to the event:

•    Canucks Autism Network

Throughout the day, the venue echoed with laughter and music as attendees explored a diverse range of movement-based classes and informational sessions hosted by Let’s Move Studio and City staff. From the high-energy beats of Bollywood dance to the serene tranquility of yoga and forest bathing, there was something for everyone.
