Remuneration Reports
SOFI Report: The Statement of Financial Information (SOFI) Report and is required annually under the Financial Information Act. It outlines council and employee compensation and payments to suppliers and grant recipients.
Pay Transparency Report: The Pay Transparency Act requires all employers in BC with over 1,000 staff to produce an annual report highlighting compensation differences across gender identities. Data collection for this report is based on voluntary participation by City employees. In 2025, 22% of employees chose to share their gender identity for the report. Following the standard outlined by the Province, pay data for the remaining 78% of employees was still included in the report with gender marked as 'unknown'. To protect privacy, any gender category with fewer than 10 employees represented is not shown in the report.
