The Jail and Bail Fundraiser is a new addition to Emergency Services Day—it is an opportunity for residents, co-workers, and organizations to raise “bail” for community members slated for arrest during the event on May 11 at Sandman Centre.
Arrestees unable to meet their bail will face the dunk tank where event attendees can make a fundraising contribution to dunk the arrested individual. Individuals to be arrested include Fire Chief Ken Uzeloc, Deputy Fire Chief Ryan Cail, firefighter Orrin Redan, Community Services Supervisor Mo Perri, and other community members.
All bail and dunk tank contributions will be shared among the Special Olympics BC - Kamloops, Kamloops Search and Rescue, and the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.
