What Can't be Fixed:

This annual event is a fan favourite, and is returning to Hillside Stadium. Enjoy food and beverage, activities for the whole family, and appearances from the players and UPROAR members. Plus, the main event, BC Lions practice.

Tḱemlúps te Secwépemc, the City of Kamloops, and the Kamloops Museum and Archives will host an unveiling of the revitalized Memorial to Sir Wilfrid Laurier Plaque on Thursday, May 22, 2025, along the 100 block of Victoria Street.

The public plaque unveiling ceremony will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and is open to all members of the community. This special occasion will include an opening prayer by a Tḱemlúps te Secwépemc Elder, followed by the ceremony and light refreshments. Some seating will be available.

Heritage BC’s annual conference is a chance for professionals across the heritage sector in BC to come together to connect, learn and discuss the future of heritage. This year’s annual heritage conference emphasizes place, featuring panels, workshops, and site visits throughout Kamloops. Departing from the traditional conference setting, sessions will spotlight local projects, community-driven initiatives, and sustainable heritage practices—all rooted in the rich cultural and historical landscape of our host communities.

Emergency Services Day offers residents a free family-friendly event that interacts with various emergency services teams and organizations operating within our community. This is an event where attendees can interact with emergency equipment, gain valuable insights into emergency preparedness, available services, and volunteer opportunities.

Bring a reusable bag to bring home coloring books, stickers, toys, swag, and other helpful information.

Join the Riverside Lawn Bowling Club on May 3–4 for a fun, free introduction to lawn bowling! You'll receive a lesson from the club's certified coaching staff, then jump right into the action with a game. Whether you're a first-timer or just looking to try something new, it's the perfect way to try lawn bowling. Free event open to ages 12-99!
