Pool users are encouraged to review the pool schedule below for a detailed schedule of swim times for the current period or closure notices, as schedules and programming changes do occur without notice.
We strongly recommend you phone before arriving to ensure that the pool and/or fitness centre will be open as unforeseen staffing challenges occur without notice.

August 3 - BC Day (Statutory Holiday) — Full facility closed.
August 10–16 - BCSSA Kamloops 2026 Provincial Championship — Full facility closed.
August 24–September 2 - Annual Facility Maintenance — Full facility closed.

The hydrolift chair in the main pool at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre is out of service. We anticipate the hydrochair will be out of service for several weeks while we wait for parts to arrive. For any residents who need this equipment to swim, a hydrolift chair is available at Brock pool (please confirm hours or any closures first). We will work to repair this equipment as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience.

Westsyde Pool Hours

The climbing wall is currently out of service while repairs are underway. We apologize for the inconvenience.
July 8: The hydrolift chair at Westsyde Pool is out of service. The lift needs repair, and we do not have an anticipated timeline for completion. For residents who need this equipment to swim, a hydrolift chair is available at Brock Outdoor Pool (please confirm hours or any closures first). We will work to repair the hydrochair at Westsyde Pool and get it back into service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.

August 3 - BC Day (Statutory Holiday) — Full facility closed.
As an outdoor pool, if and when it gets smoky, we will assess air quality each morning and decide whether to open the pool. Our priority is always the health and safety of staff and the public. Thank you for your understanding.
August 1–2 - BCSSA Regional Swim Meet — Full facility closed starting 6:00 pm, July 31.
