A Celebration of Arts, Culture, and Creativity: Culture Days 2025

The City of Kamloops is excited to share the schedule of programs and events for Culture Days, which will take place between September 19 and October 12, 2025. This national celebration of arts, culture, and creativity was created to encourage individuals and families to engage with, participate in, and support arts and culture in their community.

Participants can access a variety of free, hands-on arts and culture activities and events. Whether you're interested in exploring familiar cultural practices or discovering something new and fascinating, Culture Days has something for everyone.

“We encourage everyone to participate in Culture Days as a way to come together as a community through arts and culture. This multi-week celebration is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity of Kamloops through the lens of artistic cultural programming and creativity,” said Andrew Smeaton, the City’s Business Operations and Events Supervisor. 

Nine participating organizations will offer a variety of free programs over the three-week event period. Thank you to all the organizations that are creating, supporting, and developing culture in our community.

Culture Days aligns with the You Are Here Kamloops Cultural Strategic Plan 2024–2034. The plan aims to support our vital cultural resources and identify cultural assets to meet the needs of our growing community. Culture Days connects with Strategic Direction 6 of the plan, which focuses on animating spaces through creative placemaking.
