The City of Kamloops is tuning up for another unforgettable season of Music in the Park, presented by BCLC. For more than three decades, this iconic event has been a cherished summer tradition, drawing thousands of residents and visitors to Riverside Park to enjoy warm evenings, community spirit, and exceptional entertainment.
Music in the Park is renowned for its free evening performances throughout July and August, offering residents and tourists an opportunity to enjoy a wide array of musical talent. These performances, suitable for family members of all ages, feature a diverse lineup of artists from Kamloops and across North America, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
As planning for 2026 begins, the City of Kamloops is now accepting applications from performers and mobile food vendors:
- Performers: With more than 60 nights of live music to program, the City is seeking a wide range of genres and performers who are eager to share their sound with enthusiastic summer crowds.
- Mobile Food Vendors: Local food vendors with an approved business licence and mobile vendor status are invited to apply to bring their flavours to Riverside Park. With the completion of the new outdoor skate facility, a designated food vendor area has been added, featuring electrical hookups and seating.
Both applications are available at Kamloops.ca/MusicInThePark and are both due by 4:00 pm on March 15, 2026.
