National Health and Fitness Day

  • -
  • Canadians are surrounded by a natural physical landscape that begs us to be active. Whether it is hiking, swimming, skiing, canoeing, or cycling, the opportunities for physical activity are endless! This national initiative celebrates Canada’s commitment to health and fitness, the different ways people can get active, and how important activity is for physical and mental health.

The City is encouraging Tournament Capital Centre passholders to bring a friend for free access to the gyms and indoor track between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 4. All users accessing the gyms or indoor track will be eligible to enter a draw for prizes.

Residents are encouraged to find active inspiration on National Health and Fitness Day and show us how your moving by tagging the City of Kamloops’ social media channels with #ShowUsYourMoves and @CityofKamloopsPRC.
