The City of Kamloops is pleased to announce monthly flexible plastics recycling pop-up events for 2026.

The events will take place on the last Sunday of each month from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at a different parking lot location around the city.

Note: This pop-up event at McArthur Island was intentionally moved from the last Sunday in October to the first Sunday in November to happen in conjunction with the annual Pumpkin Smash event at McArthur Island. Flexible plastics recyclers are encouraged to include their Halloween candy wrappers.

Receive a free reusable pink tote bag when you recycle your flexible plastics with us at the pop-up events.

Find the list of 2026 dates and locations on the Flexible Plastics Recycling Pop-Up Events web page.
