Help Your Community When Disaster Strikes
Kamloops Emergency Support Services (ESS) provide a crucial service in assisting people who have been forced to leave their home due to fires, floods, landslides, or other emergencies. Displaced residents are provided accommodation, food, and other essentials to help recover after disaster.
How can you help? We are building our ESS team to best support those who may be evacuated from their home. We’re looking for volunteers who are interested in helping others when they need it most and keeping “in the know” when it comes to emergency preparedness in your community. Volunteers may typically spend between 2 and 6 hours per month for a monthly meeting and training.
