This family-friendly event includes activities for all ages and abilities and aims to showcase the important contributions Civic Operations provides in Kamloops through infrastructure, innovation, mobility, and security.
Free family activities include:
- Tours of the City’s sign shop, greenhouse, and mechanical shop
- Face painting
- Birdhouse and planter painting
- Interactive archaeology activity
- Electric Avenue
- Traffic signal light activity
- Rubber ducky races
- Hard hats, popcorn, and treats for children
- Complimentary BBQ courtesy of the Kamloops Brock Central Lions Club
Attendees will receive a site map of the event, which will be stamped at each station for an opportunity to win door prizes, including a hanging basket. Free parking for attendees will be available off Bunker Road.
