Thank you Kamloops! On December 3 and 4, City of Kamloops staff and community volunteers came together to collect holiday donations in support of the Kamloops Food Bank.
This event would not have been possible without the support of Save-On-Foods, the Kamloops Food Bank, and BC Transit. A special shout-out goes to the Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union for their efforts in rounding up an engaged and committed roster of volunteers!
In total, we collected:
1,128 lbs. of Non-Perishable Food
$5,530 in Monetary Donations
*This total does not include any major corporate/organizational donations.
Thank you again to the many volunteers and to all of the Kamloops residents who donated to help bring cheer to others this holiday season.
