Thank you to all who came out to Pumpkin Smash 2024! A smashing good time was had bashing, rolling, stomping, and dropping Halloween pumpkins at the many games and activities at McArthur Island on Saturday, November 2.

The City composted a total of 1,390 kg of pumpkins from the event.

A big thank you to Blackwell Dairy for lending milk crates, Purity Feed for supplying straw bales, the BC Wildlife Park for donating prizes, and Privato Winery for donating extra pumpkins to smash!
