City Parks employee, Rob Geiger, will join 175 other cyclists from across British Columbia on June 22, 2019, in a 400 km bicycle ride from Kelowna to Delta in support of cancer research. Rob is participating in the Ride to Survive in memory of his own mother, who he describes as a kind, funny, beautiful person who “would literally walk through a wall for her kids, and her family.
“My list, like a lot of yours’, is far too long. That is why I am participating in the 2019 Ride to Survive to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.”
Rob has set a fundraising goal of $5,000 and notes every pledge takes riders one step further in the fight against cancer. His online donation page, with more information on his story, can be accessed here.
