The newest public art installation was unveiled in Riverside Park on June 6. Locking in Hope is a partnership between the Kamloops Food Bank and the City of Kamloops and has served as a fundraiser for the Kamloops Food Bank. The iron heart and letters were created by Anvil Ironworks of Kamloops, and took over 250 hours to construct.
Locking-In Hope will continue to change and be shaped with each additional lock, which makes this a community-created art piece for all to enjoy.
