‘Tis the season to give back and that’s exactly what the City has done!

In partnership with BC Transit, the City of Kamloops hosted the annual Stuff the Bus event that took place on December 2 and 3, 2023, at the Columbia Square Save-On-Foods in support of the Kamloops Food Bank.

Residents showed strong support for this event by contributing $4,275.05 in monetary donations and stuffing a transit bus with 582 lb. of non-perishable food items.

City of Kamloops staff and volunteers from TransDev Kamloops, Thompson Rivers University, and the 1st Kamloops Scouts came together to help make the event a success once again.

This event would not have been possible without the support of Save-On-Foods, BC Transit, and staff from the Kamloops Food Bank as well as CFJC News for its continual coverage of the event.

The City of Kamloops and BC Transit would like to thank Kamloops residents for making someone’s holiday a little brighter!
