The KMA’s archives preserves and provides access to the records of the activities of Kamloopsians from 1863 to the recent past. It includes a substantial collection of photographs, books, papers, maps and architectural drawings contributed by our community.

Descriptions of some of the collections at the KMA are available on MemoryBC, the British Columbia Archival Information Network.

KMA Historical Articles Index provides short summaries on a variety of topics related to the history of Kamloops. The archives has an extensive reference library of Kamloops-related publications as well as microfilm copies of local newspapers including the Kamloops Sentinel (1880-1987), the Kamloops Standard (1897-1924), and the Kamloops Daily News (1963-1993).
