Project X Theatre is very excited for this summer’s Theatre Under the Trees Festival in Prince Charles Park, running July 10 to 29. This year’s festival features two shows, “The Hobbit” and “The Incredible Adventures of Mary Jane Mosquito”! Both are fun, family-friendly shows that all audiences are sure to love. “The Hobbit” is a new adaptation of the much-loved story featuring music, monsters, and more! “The Incredible Adventures of Mary Jane Mosquito” follows the story of a wingless mosquito and features Cree language and a beautiful message of belonging.

Kamloops is hosting the annual Canada Day event on Saturday, July 1, in Riverside Park! Join the festivities with a full day of culture, arts, music, and fun.
On Friday, June 30, 2023, the Kamloops Museum and Archives opens a new exhibition, Len. This exhibition features popular Kamloops-based political leader the Honourable Leonard Stephen "Len" Marchand Sr. (November 16, 1933–June 3, 2016, a member of Syilx Nation). All are welcome to attend the free opening reception on Friday, June 30, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
On Thursday June 22, 2023, the Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora Centennial is proudly presenting the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride – a national tradition since 1876. This year’s event, which just happens to fall inside the RCMP’s 150 Anniversary year, is at the Kamloops Agri-Centre, 485 Mount Paul Centre Way, with performances at 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm
Tickets are $50 for a family pack, $20 per adult, and $17 for students and seniors, plus taxes and fees.

The BC Lions return to Canada’s Tournament Capital on May 8–May 30, 2023, for their annual Training Camp. Fans of all ages are invited to show their Lions pride at the annual Fanfest event. Fanfest takes place at Hillside Stadium between 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 20, providing fans the opportunity to celebrate with BC Lions players, trainers, and coaches through a variety of festivities.
After the practice, players and coaches will be available for pictures and autographs. For the kids, there will be face painting, inflatable games, prizes, and more.
