Fire Prevention Bylaw No. 10-37
Message from the Chief
Kamloops Fire Rescue has a long and proud history serving the community and its citizens since inception in August 7, 1884. Since that time, many fine citizens have contributed to the safety and protection of our community through our fire service. That tradition continues today, as the City of Kamloops is proudly served by dedicated staff working out of seven fire stations, all located within Kamloops boundaries.
I am proud to have this opportunity to serve as Fire Chief alongside the dedicated staff that comprise today’s Kamloops Fire Rescue. Our staff members are committed to providing excellence of service each and every day.
Kamloops Fire Rescue’s Mission Statement is to protect the lives and property of our citizens and visitors by providing excellence in emergency response, fire prevention, and public education.
Please contact myself or our staff for assistance with any additional information on any of the services that Kamloops Fire Rescue provides.
