Christmas Tree Recycling

Recycled trees save landfill space and produce compost material for use in parks and gardens. The City received 3181 Christmas trees during the 2017-18 holiday season at our drop off sites. The most popular sites this year were Albert McGowan (830), McArthur Island (456), Westsyde Park (418), and the Yacht Club (377). To date, Kamloops has recycled close to 150,000 trees! Thank You Kamloops for doing your part in diverting Christmas trees from the landfill.
