The Kamloops Airport Authority Society is seeking applications from community-minded individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors. The City of Kamloops is facilitating the recruitment process on behalf of the Kamloops Airport Authority Society. The final decision on appointment of Kamloops Airport Authority Society Board of Director members will be made by the society. 

This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise and leadership to the governance and strategic direction of the Kamloops Airport while supporting its continued growth as an important transportation and economic gateway for the region.

Previous board experience is considered an asset but is not required.

Director Responsibilities

Board Directors are responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership and oversight.
  • Acting in the best interests of Kamloops Airport Authority Society.
  • Supporting sound governance and financial stewardship.
  • Participating in Board meetings and committee work.
  • Helping guide the long-term success of the Kamloops Airport.

Time Commitment

  • Regular Board meetings throughout the year.
  • Committee meetings as required.
  • Preparation and review of meeting materials.
  • Participation in strategic planning and governance activities.
