Park hours: 5:00 am - 11:00 pm
Located on the banks of the Thompson River, next to the Sandman Centre, and just minutes from downtown. Enjoy a picnic, stroll along the beach, or go for a swim. Bring the kids to the inclusive playground and accessible water park, enjoy lawn bowling, and stay for Music in the Park held nightly throughout the summer at the Rotary Bandshell.

Park regulations:
- No Smoking
- No Drugs
- No Alcohol (Responsible Liquor Consumption in Bandshell Area Only | May 15-October 1: 12:00-9:00 pm)
- No Campfires
- Attention Dog Owners: Dogs are not allowed in Riverside Park, except on the southern portion of the Rivers Trail multi-use pathway where they must be kept on leash in accordance with City of Kamloops Dog Responsibility and Control Bylaw No. 34-42. Please clean up after your dog.
Water safety:
- Swim at Your Own Risk: Swimming at Riverside Park is only permitted within the roped area of the beach. Lifeguards are available during the summer months but may not always be on duty.
