Planning is now underway for the 2026 Canada Day event at Riverside Park, held annually on July 1.
The City of Kamloops is accepting applications from community groups and City-approved mobile food vendors interested in joining the vibrant and joyous celebration that draws tens of thousands of attendees.
In a collaborative effort with the Kamloops Arts Council and the Kamloops Multicultural Society, the City is inviting community groups to be an integral part of the festivities. Community groups and organizations that offer engaging, interactive, and creative activities promoting community spirit are encouraged to apply.
Interested mobile food vendors must have a valid business licence and be approved to operate as a mobile vendor in the current year.
Application forms are available at Kamloops.ca/CanadaDay. All applications must be received by May 1, 2026, at 4:00 pm, to be considered for this year’s event.
The Kamloops Multicultural Society organizes multicultural food vendors. Artists wishing to participate in Art in the Park—a cornerstone of the Canada Day celebrations—can apply through the Kamloops Arts Council. This segment of the event offers artists a platform to display and sell their works and engage with the community through art.
