The City of Kamloops and the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club are pleased to recognize On Side Restoration as the new naming-rights sponsor of the former Kamloops Kia Lounge at Sandman Centre.
The newly named On Side Restoration Lounge reflects a four-year sponsorship agreement between the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club and On Side Restoration as part of the facility agreement with the Blazers organization.
As a long-standing local employer and community-minded organization, On Side Restoration has demonstrated a commitment to supporting communities through charitable initiatives, volunteerism, and partnerships that strengthen local connections and enhance quality of life. The company's values of teamwork, generosity, and community engagement align closely with the spirit of amateur and professional sport, making the Kamloops Blazers a natural community partner.
“We are privileged to partner with the Kamloops Blazers on this community-focused partnership. Junior hockey brings people together, creating opportunities to connect, build relationships, and cheer alongside our neighbours. Our team lives and works here in Kamloops, and we’re proud to support a local space where people can gather and build community,” said Shane Petit, On Side Restoration’s Kamloops Branch Manager.
Through this sponsorship, On Side Restoration aims to strengthen the bond between local businesses and the Kamloops Blazers' passionate fan base. This partnership embodies On Side Restoration’s values of community involvement and supporting the growth of sports in Kamloops.
“This partnership demonstrates the important role local businesses play in supporting community recreation and entertainment facilities,” said Dušan Magdolen, the City’s Cultural Services and Events Manager. “We are pleased to recognize On Side Restoration's investment in Sandman Centre and the broader Kamloops community.”
The On Side Restoration Lounge, located on the main level of Sandman Centre, is used year-round for Kamloops Blazers games, concerts, special events, and private and public gatherings.
