The City’s 2026 Fall Activity Guide is now available online. It offers a variety of programs in aquatics, recreation, sports, fitness, arts, and culture for all ages and abilities. Residents are encouraged to make the most of the season by staying engaged with a wide range of classes from August through December.
Residents can pick up a hard copy of the Activity Guide on Wednesday, August 5, at various convenient locations across the city:

New this fall, residents can register for two eight-week rehabilitative exercise programs designed to support strength, mobility, posture, and joint function. The Lower Body Foundations and Joint Strength Program focuses on lower-body movement and stability, while the Upper Body Foundations and Joint Strength Program supports upper-body strength and mobility. Both programs are featured in the Clinical and Rehabilitative Exercise section on pages 60–61. The Activity Guide also includes Thompson-Nicola Regional Library programming on pages 34–37.
Registration for fall programs, including swim lessons, will be available on Tuesday, August 11. Online registration begins at 6:30 am at Kamloops.ca/Register. For those preferring other registration methods, starting at 10:00 am, residents may register by phone at 250-828-3500 or in person at one of the following locations:

Swim lesson schedules are now available online at Kamloops.ca/Swim ahead of registration day. Printed copies are also available at the Tournament Capital Centre and Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre.
A recreation account is required to register online, by phone, or in person. Residents are reminded to prepare in advance of registration day and set up a recreation account by visiting Kamloops.ca/Recreation or calling 250-828-3500. Residents are encouraged to ensure their online recreation accounts are up to date with their current email address so that they receive time-sensitive emails, particularly when joining a wait-list.
