Similar to many communities in BC, Kamloops is experiencing housing pressures due to changing demographics and market trends. To better understand the current housing climate and to identify future housing needs, the City of Kamloops has prepared a comprehensive Housing Needs Assessment.

This assessment includes a demographic and economic profile, a compilation of trends impacting housing demand and supply, the current housing profile, and a summary of projected future housing needs. The information in this report provides a starting point for creating policies, plans, and development decisions that are based on the current housing profile and future housing needs within the city of Kamloops.
