Canada Day 2025

Kamloops is hosting the annual Canada Day event on July 1 in Riverside Park. Join the festivities with a full day of culture, arts, music, and fun.

The City thanks the Kamloops Arts Council and the Kamloops Multicultural Society for organizing the Canada Day festivities and BCLC for sponsoring this event. We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Government of Canada.

Canada Day Event Details 

Join us at Riverside Park for a full family-friendly day of activities, food, culture, entertainment at the Folkfest, and Art in the Park which will be held in the area near the Rose Garden. Residents are invited to explore the Canada Day activities that are available starting at 7:00 am.

Fireworks Show

The day will be capped off with a fireworks show at dusk (weather pending), approximately at 10:00 pm. For the best experience, attendees are encouraged to watch the show from Rivers Trail in Riverside Park.

BC Transit is offering free transit on July 1, operating with Saturday-level service. Visit the BC Transit website at bctransit.com/kamloops for trip planning, schedules, and customer advisories. 

Bike Valet

Ride to the Canada Day celebration and securely park your bike or e-scooter with the Kamloops Bike Valet at the tennis courts at the west end of Riverside Park.
