Make a Splash This Spring Break – Fun for All Ages

Westsyde Pool and the Canada Games Aquatic Centre have two weeks of activities planned for spring break. Running from March 17 to 28, 2025, each facility offers different programming guaranteed to entertain. 

The AquaTrack at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre will be set up for playtime fun in the early afternoon during public swim hours from March 17 to 28. This water obstacle course provides running, climbing, jumping, and sliding fun for ages 7+. Registration is not required. 

Westsyde Pool is offering daily jungle-themed swims on weekdays from March 17 to 21 and March 24 to 28. Between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, pool users can come as they would for a public swim, and lifeguards will lead participants in the themed day through planned games and activities. The games, activities, and crafts are optional and open to all ages. Participants will be able to enter into a weekly prize. 
 
Themed Jungle Swim Days:

  • Week 1 (March 17–21): Tree-mendous Plants, Go Bananas, What’s All The Squack About, Safari Sights, Friday Frog Fun
  • Week 2 (March 24–28): Prehistoric Watering Hole, Slithering Snake Swim, Feline Fun, Fish Frenzy, Wilderness Explorer

The Westsyde Pool and Fitness Studio will be closed as of Saturday, March 29, for regularly scheduled annual facility maintenance and will reopen to the public on Tuesday, April 22. Memberships will be accepted at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
