BC Hydro crews will be working on electrical infrastructure in the area of Hugh Allan Drive and Pacific Way to increase the reliability of the electrical system. Work will begin in early October, with anticipated completion in early December 2025.
In October, there will be rotating road closures to allow crews to get the work done in a safe and timely manner.
In November, traffic disruptions will be more minimal with pedestrian and bicycle traffic being more heavily impacted.
Some additional work will occur the first week of December, with anticipated project completion on December 5, 2025.
Work will be completed in phases with detours put in place (timeline is subject to change):
