In February 2018, Administration combined the Public Works and Utilities Department and the Parks and Civic Facilities Division to create the Civic Operations Department. Our department’s portfolio includes Parks and Civic Facilities, Capital Projects, Streets and Environmental Services, Trades, and Utility Services. This successful merger improved operational efficiencies and has resulted in more effective service delivery. This report outlines key highlights and initiatives from the year 2018.
